Jamie Pattee, LMFT

Hi! I’m Jamie. I am so happy to be connected with you.

I began my career as a therapist in 2013, after teaching for eight years in the Paradise Valley Unified School District. During my career as a therapist, I spent time in the community mental health setting and also in a group private practice.

I founded Authentic Connections Therapy Center in October 2019 because I deeply believe in the power of authentic, healthy, and meaningful relationships — with partners, family, friends, colleagues, and, often most importantly, with yourself.

At the start of every first session, I share something I hold close:

“There are three courageous steps you take before you even sit down with me.
1️Deciding to explore therapy.
2️ Reaching out to schedule an appointment.
3️ Walking through the office door (or joining online).”

My hope is that no matter how deep we go, no matter the vulnerability or emotion we touch, you leave feeling that those three steps were worth it — that you were met with safety, compassion, and genuine support.

I became a therapist because I have always been fascinated by human connection and what shapes our inner worlds. Even after twelve years of providing therapy, I continue to learn every day — from my clients, my colleagues, and ongoing professional training.

My Approach & Training

I work with individuals, couples, and families, and I draw from several evidence-based approaches to tailor therapy to your needs:

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT): to help rebuild emotional bonds and open up honest, connecting conversations.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): Level 1 trained, for processing trauma and distressing memories.

  • Brainspotting: Phase 1 trained, for supporting deeper emotional healing.

Each of these approaches can help you slow down, process what’s overwhelming, and find clarity in a way that feels safe and supported.

Who I Work With:

I support individuals, couples, and families as they navigate a wide range of experiences — including communication challenges, relationship and family conflict, anger, anxiety, motherhood, parenting, and self-esteem.

I also have experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community and proudly identify as an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist. My goal is to offer a compassionate and inclusive space where every person feels safe, seen, and supported.
